Financial Solutions to Help You Pay For Care

At Cascade Living Group, we understand that making the decision to move to a senior living community is one that involves a lot of research and thorough financial planning. We also recognize and understand the importance of being able to afford your care, especially during these difficult economic times. Fortunately, we are partnering with several organizations to help you find convenient financial solutions that will assist you in paying for your senior living care. These financial resources include:

Veteran’s Aid

Provides financial assistance to veterans or the widow/widower of a veteran. Individuals may be eligible for up to $1,700 per month from the Veteran’s Administration to help pay for assisted living, skilled nursing care, residential care home or home care.

Life Care Funding Group

Offers Life Settlements which involves the sale of a life insurance policy for an amount greater than the surrender value and is for those 65 years of age or older (ages as young as 55 may be considered). It can serve as a quick way to provide funding without tapping into financial reserves.

Long Term Care Insurance

Covers the cost of care that is not covered under other insurances and Medicare.

Companion Living

Companion living brings together two unrelated residents to share an apartment in Independent living or assisted living.  This offers a more affordable option, but all the features and benefits of senior living like, great meals, engaging activities, transportation and most importantly experienced team members dedicated to compassionate care remain. 

Tax Exempt

Tax exemptions are available for both residents and family caregivers to help cover the costs of assisted living and memory care services. Check with a tax accountant for details.

Deferred and Discounted Rent Program

This program is offered by Cascade Living Group. In the event that a customer has a home to sell or is waiting for VA aid and attendance approval or LTC insurance approval,  CLG now has 2 options for customers that would not otherwise be able to make a move due to finances or need to use proceeds from a home sale to pay for services in our communities. Rent can be deferred or discounted for up to 6 months until funding is obtained.

Pricing Options

Cascade Living Group will now offer new residents and families two pricing options. Customers can choose from the standard customized pricing or choose the “predictable” Care for Life program. These programs are applicable for all 3-product lines including Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Customized pricing consists of the current base rent  and in the case of assisted living and memory care add one of six levels of service which is determine by conducting an assessment of the new resident and medication management. Customized price is subject to annual market adjustment increases.

Care for Life is a “predictable” rate that is guaranteed for life. With Independent living the rent would be locked in for life and assisted living and memory care are bundled rates that include base rent, care levels, and medication management that is locked in for life. This rate will be locked in for life and will not be subject to annual market adjustment increases.

In the case of assisted living and memory care, the bundled rate is determined by adding street rate, care levels and medication management.

Club Sierra

Club Sierra is offered at Cascades of the Sierra. Any person interested in Cascades of Sierra service but not yet ready to make a move can pay a membership fee and take advantage of services at the community. These services include: discounted meals, theatre, EverFit Club, discounted stays, discounted salon services and more. General membership is $500 and will be applied to move-in costs. Special memberships are available for the Toscana and Del Webb at $250 and will be applied to move-in costs.

SierraStays

Prospective residents are invited to experience the difference between living and living well by indulging in our new SierraStays Program. It’s the perfect way to refresh and rejuvenate, while sampling the lifestyle offered at Cascades of the Sierra. SierraStays is a free two-night stay in one of our beautifully decorated guest suites. Guests will enjoy three complimentary meals a day in one of our five-star restaurants and spend their days taking advantage of all we have to offer
